T.W.I.B Giveaway!
I would like to announce I am doing a giveaway! The details are: You will pick a MLB team. Predict what their record will be next week. (Sunday to Saturday.) Make sure you know how many games they are playing that week. But, that's too easy. You will also tell me how many home runs will be hit, and just in case, how many innings pitched by the teams starting pitcher. Its fairly simple. You have until this Saturday to make your predications, and this event ends the following Saturday. Answers are submitted by comments on this post. I will announce the winner in my trading deadline This Week In Baseball post, that Sunday. If the winner is a TCDb member, I will message you for prize conversation. If you are not, then I will give you my email or something. Here is the forum post. Thanks for participating, and enjoy!
I am going to use the Minnesota Twins. Record 1-4. Home runs hit 6. Innings pitched 21.2
ReplyDeletePhillies - 4-2, 8 HRs, 33 IP by starters
ReplyDeleteNOTionals 1-5, 2 Home runs, 13 2/3 Innings pitched. Congrats in advance to the winner
ReplyDeleteRoyals 3-4 5 homers and starting pitching with go 32 1/3 innings
ReplyDeleteNice giveaway--very creative and original! I'll go big and say the Dodgers go 5-0 with 5 home runs and 31 innings pitched by starting pitchers.
ReplyDeleteMinnesota Twins. 2-3 record, 7 home runs, 23 innings pitched.
ReplyDeleteNY Mets is my selection. A Record of 3-2, 6 Home Runs, 27 innings pitched by the starting pitchers.
ReplyDeleteI predict the Red Sox will go 3-3, hit 5 home runs, and the starting pitchers will go 24 innings total.
ReplyDeleteThe Pittsburgh Pirates are going to go 3-4 with 7 homers and the starting pitchers will go 36 innings. (I'm probably way off, but this is a fun one! )
ReplyDeleteFascinating and fun contest idea! Fortunately (unfortunately) my Red Sox are facing the Braves and Yankees this week, so I'll say they go 2-4 this week. Starters will go 32 innings, and the team will hit 8 home runs.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with the Red Sox as well. 2-4, 7 HRs, 28.2 innings pitched.
